Our research links physical, chemical and biological components of aquatic ecosystems to address issues related to the consequences of human activity (e.g., land use change, climate change, contaminants) on both lakes and rivers. We have been involved in several large interdisciplinary and multi-institutional initiatives that link aspects of the Anthropocene to aquatic ecosystems.
